Keeping Them Safe
Some things have changed over the summer. The trees are taller. Kids have tans. The weather is hotter. And, we have started a new check-in system called KidCheck.
KidCheck is a system that helps us keep your kids safe. There are great benefits to using it. One, for example, is that parents or guardians can now check-in their children just by scanning their KidCheck card, clicking a few times and typing a few words. Whoosh, out pop name tags and safety stickers so that they can be easily picked up. You can create your free KidCheck account here.
Checking children in and out of the church helps us in a number of ways:
- Should there be an emergency we know exactly how many children to track
- Through the use of SMS, we are able to quickly respond to child emergencies and injuries
- Each child receives their very own security code that changes every time so that only parents or guardians that are authorized may pick their child
- Register for events from home.
- Update and manage your own information
- Once your use KidCheck with us, you can instantly login at any other KidCheck location
- Allergies and special needs are printed right on the name badge meaning you don't have to worry if the leader remembers or not
- KidCheck has been fully endorsed by Group Publishing (that means they think it's pretty awesome)
Checking out is just as easy. After picking up your child, just stop and scan your tag again at the appropriate check-out station. And you are gone. "Have a good week!"
